The Northport House is your perfect Alabama getaway. This beautiful 3 bedroom and 2 bath home is just 10 minutes from campus, but far away from all the crowds and bustle. Located just across the bridge from downtown Tuscaloosa, the house is within easy walking distance to the shopping and dining of Historic Downtown Northport, the levee walking/bike path, and Oliver Lock & Dam with its beautiful views of the Black Warrior River.

The Northport house has hosted graduation parties, family weekends, gameday celebrations, class reunions, girls' weekends, birthday parties and even a Thanksgiving dinner or two. Why rent a room when you can have a whole house for the same price?

Historic Downtown Northport
The country's oldest barber shop is right next to the oldest hardware store. Food, antiques, and fun just a short walk away.
The Levee Hike & Bike Trail
From the bank of the Black Warrior river and past lots of Alabama famous pine trees, it's a nice place for a walk.
Kentuck Park
The park is almost across the street from the Northport House. It's equipped with a playground and is nice for an evening stroll or a picnic.
Downtown Tuscaloosa
Just across the bridge are the downtown shops, restaurants, bars, & galleries. A great outing for a relaxing afternoon or evening.
City Cafe- Downtown Northport
If you want a taste of the real Alabama drop in at City Cafe (est. 1931). Sit at the bar or grab a table, but don't wait to be seated, because then they'll know you're from out of town.
Wooden Trestle Railroad Bridge
The oldest operating wooden railroad bridge in the US is just down the street and you can take a stroll under this impressive piece of history.
